DAY ONE:

  • We support schools to improve cyber resilience. Come and talk to us about the new Cyber Security Hub.

  • We deal with applications from responsible bodies who require Secretary of State consent in relation to school land transactions. This includes disposals of school buildings and playing fields, leasing of school premises, acquiring land on behalf of a school, granting leases to solar and telecoms operators, granting easements to utilities providers and changing the use of school land. We are here to help with pre application enquiries, provide support for ongoing applications and assist with land strategy planning.

  • We deliver the Schools Gigabit Broadband and Connect the Classroom programmes, assisting schools to get the best possible digital connectivity into their classrooms. We are here to answer queries about broadband availability, school networking and the relevant DfE Digital Standards.

  • We provide guidance and support to schools to enable them to deliver free breakfast clubs and wraparound childcare.

  • All educational settings must have a climate action plan by the end of 2025. Find out how we can help and support you with climate action plans, including the National Education Nature Park, Sustainability Support for Education, and the Climate Ambassadors programme.

  • Our team supports schools to buy non-staff goods and services more efficiently and to make effective use of the resources available to them. Find out more about the latest initiatives that will help school buyers get the best value for money and ensure you buy compliantly. You can find all of our resources by searching 'GOV.UK Buying for School'

DAY TWO:

  • We can provide support with accessing and using the Monitor your school attendance tool. The dashboards and reports available in the tool can help schools, trusts and local authorities to identify trends, highlight pupils who may need support, save time building attendance reports, and compare attendance within the local authority, nationally, and with other similar schools

  • We collect academy trust financial data (BFR, AR, LBCT, CoA and Automation) from the sector. We can answer questions about completing the forms but also what we use the data for.

  • We work on school and academy trust governance policy. We are responsible for updating the governance guides, developing governance policy and we work with a variety of governance stakeholders. Come and speak to us about the new resource which helps support governors, trustees and governance professionals with strong and effective governance, published on GOV.UK in September 2025.
